Does getting your body waxed hurt?

We'd be lying if we said it didn't hurt at all. There is definitely a slight sting, but if you go to a reputable waxer this will be minimised with the correct technique and speed.

How often should I get a wax?

Hair cycles vary from person to person, so depending on how your hair grows back will determine when you're heading in for your next appointment. However, every two to four weeks after your first wax can be expected to keep things silky smooth.

How long should your hair be for a wax?

Your hair should be a minimum of a quarter of an inch in length. About the length of a grain of rice. This is generally around four to six weeks worth of growth. What should I do after a wax?

Wear loose-fitting and comfortable clothes straight after your treatment. Also, a cold shower or cool compression will help with the slight swelling/redness. Avoid any cosmetics that are perfumed for at least 12 hours.

When should I get a wax?
