It's not the cornrows themselves that itch, more so that they're worn for long lengths of time and this can cause the scalp to become irritated. You can itch the spots without ruining the cornrows if you're careful enough.
How long will cornrows last?
Roughly five weeks to eight weeks. It depends on the exact style, your hair and condition.
