Try to wait at least 48 to 72 hours before shampooing your hair. Have a word with your hairdresser regarding the best salon shampoo and conditioner to keep your new hair looking its best.
Why should I get highlights?
If your colour is feeling a bit flat and you're ready for a change, consider highlights. They'll add variation and interest to your hair without requiring a commitment to a block colour dye.
How often should I get highlights?
This depends on how they grow out - if you end up with a harsh line after six weeks or so, you'll want to get that sorted. If it's a softer effect, you might be able to push it out to 12 weeks.
